If you are reading this and are interested in going abroad for an elective rotation (which I HIGHLY recommend!) here are some links to get you started!
I am part of an exchange program with my school. We have a bilateral exchange agreement with IFMSA which makes the cost of my elective here...FREE!! I do no pay for housing, tuition, and the medical students help me get around, and some of my meals are provided.
You can start an exchange at your school too. (I would HIGHLY recommend it!) We started it at our school this year. It does take some dedication and some emailing but once it is started you can begin to see how medicine is practiced all over the world. The links below will help you get on your way if 1.) you already have an exchange program or 2.) you want to start one at your school! Feel free to comment with and questions!
